Creatives Meet-up
Saturday, February 11, 2017. The day a ton of Las Vegas creators, bloggers, and photographers all met up at Sister House Collective; the newest and coolest space in the Downtown area! I mean, what isn't better than meeting like-minded people over coffee, doughnuts, and live music? Meeting incredible people is the biggest reason I love social media!
About a year ago I met Ashley, the founder of Sister House
Collective, through Instagram and told her my idea about wanting to set up a get together somewhere with a bunch of other women in the local area so that we could all get to know each other. Ashley, being the amazing woman that she is, said, "Hey! My shop will be opening in February! We can host it there!" So, we did!
Of course we couldn't do this without coffee because, let's be honest, coffee just makes everything better! So, we served Mothership Coffee, a local Las Vegas coffee shop and one of the most incredible roasts I've had. Not only this, but the fact that they get their beans from multiple countries that directly provide jobs for women farmers makes it an absolute MUST!
Now on to the DOUGHNUTS *DROOL* Donutbar LV was so kind to sponsor this meet up and give us a few boxes of doughnuts that were delicious and such a hit!
Lastly, the real talent of this whole event was the incredibly talented, Las Vegas artist, Miss Sonia. Her amazing guitar playing and beautiful voice serenaded us all while we enjoyed awesome conversation and coffee.
