 The Torres Tent

I am very excited to be writing this for y'all! We have been homeowners for three weeks now and it's been the craziest and best thing ever! When we moved into this home we knew we would want to update a few things... such as the tan ceilings and walls. Now don't get me wrong I love tans but man oh man there was just way to much in this home. With the tiles being a light tan and the grante counters having browns in them. It was just TOO MUCH...

So we went to Home Depot and spent sometime picking out a gray we liked, I didn't expect it to be so hard to choose a grey... BUT after three picks we got home and my husband painted a little area with all of them and we decided. 

Now I can't take credit for any of the work you are about to see! My husband absolutely CRUSHED painting, I am so proud of him! It look a few days and he did it with such a serving hard! He had to paint the ceilings white and then the walls gray. I am in love with the colors we chose. I didn't realize how much more of a home our home could feel like with just some color on the walls!

K I T C H E N 

The kitchen is my favorite part about this home. I love how big it is and how many counter space it has. We plan on getting some white metal chairs to put at the island. 

D I N I N G R O O M 

We *my husband* are eventually going to be building a farmhouse table and I CAN NOT WAIT to see how much it transforms this space! 

L I V I N G R O O M 

 When it comes to decor or just overall feel of a home. I love simple. When I feel that there is just too much going on I get overwhelmed. This couch is our dream couch! We spent months looking for the couch we just loved and when we finally sat on this one we knew!! It is from Living Spaces!

Ahhhh. This piano. We go three years ago from a friend who got it for F R E E! She gave it us because well my husband is incredibly talented at playing it! Its old and out of tune apparently, but to me it sounds warm and makes my heart full! When we moved from Vegas my husband didn't wanna bring because it is so beat up and out of tune. We ended up bringing it and I am so glad we did! 

B E F O R E 

See that ceiling fan??? My man installed it! There use to be one lonely light there which was awful because it was so yellow. Thank God for a man who knows how to do work! So overall the color choices were something I will never regret! I feel is brightens up our living space and I never knew how much I appreciate WHITE ceilings!
