H O M E

Many of you who have been following me for sometime know that my husband and I were unsure of our future circumstances. I know you may be thinking, "Well yeah, we don't know what the future holds." You are correct on that thought. We didn't know where or what God was calling us to. Needless to say it was a very stress-filled year, but we knew that God would show up; we had faith.
Granted, one day our faith could be so strong and the next so weak, but we remained thankful in that no matter what God is constant in His promises. God didn't let my lack of faith stop Him from showing up and making miracles happen. It had nothing to do with me in that moment. God knew what the future held because, well...He creates it. Haha! I believe it could have gone differently, of course, if maybe we had taken things into our own hands.

"I am human and so thankful God didn't let my lack

of faith stop Him from showing up and making miracles happen."

We got the news that we were coming to San Antonio in May and we were out here in July looking for a home! Again, God knew what He was doing and knew that I would be so overwhelmed by the process of buying a house. Thankfully, my husband was listening very closely to what God was telling him to do. We ended up finding our home after ONE day! That's it! We looked at seven other pre-owned homes and realized that wasn't working for us. The next day we called our realtor and asked her about new construction homes. We never thought we would be able to buy a brand new home, but boy was I wrong. In the process of buying a home everything worked out perfectly which was so assuring that this was God's will for us in Texas.

We went back to Las Vegas and had two months before we were moving states. I may have gotten a little excited and started packing our house up right when we got home...Haha! But hey, I was so over the moon about what God was doing and how He answered so many prayers, I couldn't help myself! Those two months were filled with packing, cleaning, and making sure we saw everyone we loved dearly in Vegas.

Just like that, September came and we were packing up our lives into a 16-foot moving truck. Of course we had to get an extra trailer to tow behind that big ol' truck. The road trip was so exciting and overwhelming. It was our first time driving that far with our dogs in the car. I will never, I mean NEVER, do that again! They were crazy and I had to remind myself they had no idea what was going on. Poor babies. We split that trip up into four days because we were driving separately. Driving alone gets real boring, thank God for podcasts! First stop was Albuquerque, New Mexico where we stayed with a friend I hadn't seen in over two years! We stayed two days there because I'd much rather have been able to hang out with them than be in a hotel. Next stop was Lubbock, TX which felt like it took forever to get to! There are so many tiny towns in Texas and each town you think, "Oh, this must be it!" But NOOO! LOL. The next day we were waking up and heading to San Antonio which made it all worth it! We had to stay in a hotel the first night in SA because we weren't closing on our house until Tuesday, the fifth of September.

Tuesday came and we closed on our first home EVER. Can I just say buying a home is the most beautiful, stressful thing I've ever experienced in my life! I have been a whirlwind of emotions these past few weeks. Moving while pregnant is A LOT!
Thankful to have a husband who knows how to handle me so well! It's crazy to see in times like these where you grow in your love and appreciation for one other!

Once our house is put together and painted I will post a blog for y'all all about it! I can't wait to watch our family grow in this home! Texas is the best!

XOXO- B

20 week bump update!

Week 19 went by SO FAST! We are half way to meeting this little guy! We really are so excited! I have officially gotten a bump, its here to stay. Baby boy has been moving around like crazy this week! I feel him through out the day and its the BEST! Sam was actually able to feel him moving. Once Sam put his hand on my belly and started talking to baby, he kicked so hard it was great! I am to the point already where i seriously can not wait to his sweet little face!
