18 week bump update!
Words can't even describe how crazy it feels to already be almost half way done with this pregnancy. This week baby is the size of a sweet potato or an artichoke. Should be weighing about 7 oz... which Lord knows our boy is probably like 10 oz already. Haha.
The back pains have been pretty rough which is causing sleep to be limited or just uncomfortable. Hoping this body pillow helps out, if you have any tips let me know!! One of the most exciting things this week happened, I felt movement!!! This week has been great with the baby, but mama was a little anxious about any and everything. I went to the doctors Tuesday and was able to hear his strong and healthy heartbeat which made me feel A LOT better.

I have official hit the point of actually looking like I am growing a human, at least I think so. Haha. Honestly, this week has been harder with these changes. I just wanna be real with y'all about how I am feeling with this journey because it is a real struggle and if you are feeling this way know you ARE NOT ALONE! Reminding myself that this is the process and God has blessed us with this beautiful baby. He created our bodies to do this! Resting and finding peace knowing that truth.
We are moving to Texas FRIDAY! Well we start the road trip to our new home and I am freaking out a little bit or a lot a bit! So with the chaos of packing, cleaning, and making sure to say bye to everyone here, I am trying to remember to rest. There will be a blog up about our home and how God did amazing things with the process of it soon!
Eating habits this week have been different then a few weeks ago. I have been really trying to get more nutrients into my diet and making sure I have a variety of foods everyday. Because really all I am craving is bagels and bread! Fruits and veggies are important too... smoothies have been great because its easy to put spinach or kale in them and not taste it. Of course balance is important, I've had my share of sweets and they make baby very happy! ;)
Our baby has been so spoiled already! My mom came into town this weekend to see us one last time before we move and brought tons of cute clothes. And these sweet women from our church threw me a little baby shower at one of my favorite brunch places downtown! It was so kind of them. I love being surrounded by kind and uplifting women in my life. Love you all.
* this will be my mom's 8th grandkid. 3rd grandson, so she's excited!*
We spent some time in Babies-R-Us and we think we found the stroller and car seat set we wanna get! I am so excited.
We are going to go with the Evoflo Pro Series Pivot. :) Can you tell my husband is incredibly excited about his cool baby stroller?
Week 17 and 18 have been incredible can't wait till the next blog talk soon!
XOXO- B
