Sleeping Routine.

"How are you sleeping?" "How tired are you?" "Oh I remember those days of sleepless nights."
All things I am sure we've all heard. Before we even have the baby people are telling you " enjoy your last days of sleeping." Encouraging right? I mean don't get me wrong those first 6 weeks were pretty long and tiring but nothing some coffee or a few cups of coffee can't fix. Right? haha.

You guys we are officially 5 weeks away from meeting our little man well if he comes on his due date! To say I'm overwhelmed with all the emotions is definitely an understatement for sure. The feeling like we still have so much to do but we don't is driving me nuts. So thought I would write this blog to distract me as I wait. You know there are tons and tons of lists that are going around Pinterest about ALL the things you "need" when having a baby. But lets be real, woman have been doing this mom thing for hundreds of years, before any of these things were even a thought. So i"d say all this is just to make it easy. ( which I like! )

I am very excited to be writing this for y'all! We have been homeowners for three weeks now and it's been the craziest and best thing ever! When we moved into this home we knew we would want to update a few things... such as the tan ceilings and walls. Now don't get me wrong I love tans but man oh man there was just way to much in this home. With the tiles being a light tan and the grante counters having browns in them. It was just TOO MUCH...

H O M E 

Many of you who have been following me for sometime know that my husband and I were unsure of our future circumstances. I know you may be thinking, "Well yeah, we don't know what the future holds." You are correct on that thought. We didn't know where or what God was calling us to. Needless to say it was a very stress-filled year, but we knew that God would show up; we had faith.

18 week bump update!

Words can't even describe how crazy it feels to already be almost half way done with this pregnancy. This week baby is the size of a sweet potato or an artichoke. Should be weighing about 7 oz... which Lord knows our boy is probably like 10 oz already. Haha.

My Morning Routine! 

What I do and why! 

           I love mornings! To me, mornings are the most important time of the day. I could be biased because I am such a morning person. I love being able to get up early and enjoy the quiet stillness that comes with it; well, at least until baby comes. Some of you may be reading this and thinking, "Is she crazy?" Maybe, but waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise and having my time with God is the best way to start my day. 

                     

16 week bump update. 

This week Baby T is the size of an avocado, but avocados do vary in size. Either way, we get an idea of how big baby is. The reason I say, "big", is because at our last ultra sound our sweet tech said that baby weighs 5oz, which usually doesn't happen until 18 weeks...BIG... Baby is listening to our voices which is mind-blowing and so exciting! I'd be lying if I told you I didn't talk to him often! They say that this week I should start to feel flutters for the first time... I CAN NOT WAIT! I don't know what to expect, but I'm sure it will be the best feeling ever!

If you guys enjoy a good story then you'll love Smokey Barns! Chris, who is now the owner and master roaster behind this amazing company, has been around coffee for most of his life. Back in 1993 when Chris's parents opened a coffee house, he was so young he wasn't even able to work the bar. That didn't stop him from pretending after hours! Once he got older and out of school he  went into various engineering careers, but of course his love for coffee was too strong to ignore!
